Professor Raymond Wong presents 2022 Outstanding Alumni Award in Entrepreneurial Achievement of PolyU School of Fashion and Textiles to Mr Kwok Chi-hung, Stanley

The event aims to commend remarkable alumni, Mr Stanley Kwok, for his entrepreneurial excellence of KnitWarm.

Mr Kwok introduces Professor Raymond Wong the latest KnitWarm product

Mr Kwok also shared his success stories, experiences, and insights with SFT students to encourage them to overcome challenges and pursue their own dreams.

Mr Kwok applied the patented heat-conductive knitting technology in a variety of wearable items. He co-founded the lifestyle brand, KnitWarm, which aims to generate heat and keep wearers warm without looking bulky or feeble. In the last three years, KnitWarm has launched and commercialised more than ten innovative products including Wrap, Smart KneeSleeve, HarnessWarmer, and WarmerBand. The patented invention successfully addresses the technological challenges, rendering bulky, uncomfortable and unstylish winter wear a thing of the past. Unlocking the possibility of new applications to satisfy the unmet needs of customers, Mr Kwok’s functional wearables are well recognised in the market and won many awards for the company. These include the Red Dot Award, Asia Pacific Information and Communications Technology Alliance Awards 2020-21, Hong Kong ICT Awards - Grand Award, and DHL / SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards 2021 - the Startup Award.
